Forest Hill, MD — The International Aviation Womens Association (IAWA), a worldwide organization for women who hold leadership positions across the entire spectrum of the aviation and aerospace industry, has announced Linda Galindo, Motivational Coach and Accountability Author, from Galindo Consulting, Inc., as a keynote speaker for its 28th Annual Conference. This year’s conference will be held October 19-21, 2016 in Montreal, Canada at Hotel Omni Mont-Royal.

A former radio news personality, Linda Galindo made the shift to consulting, speaking and writing about accountability 20 years ago. With a refreshingly direct and dynamic style, Linda teaches leaders how to bring accountability into their organizations to significantly improve performance most notably in quality and safety. Galindo inspires leaders to empower themselves, and those that follow them, to speak the truth, focus on what matters and be fully accountable for the results they produce. She consults to clients in a variety of verticals including energy, financial, medical devices, transportation, insurance and the arts.

Linda is the author of The 85% Solution: How Personal Accountability Guarantees Success – No Nonsense, No Excuses (Wiley, 2009). This “accountability primer” offers a re-framed approach to accountability – inviting everyone to understand that to be effective as a leader there has to be personal accountability whether results are good or bad. She also authored Way to Grow! Cultivating the Weeds, Daisies and Orchids in Your Organization and Where Winners Live – Sell More, Earn,More, Achieve More Through Personal Accountability (Wiley, 2013).

Linda serves as faculty for the Governance Institute and the Institute of Management Studies. She speaks to leadership conferences internationally and is a founding Board Member for the NASBA Center for Public Trust.

Galindo’s address will be the highlight of the luncheon on Friday, October 21.
