EMariana Santos accumulates 15 years of solid work experience with airliners and business jet OEMs, most notably Embraer. Her background includes sales engineering, market analysis, product strategy, technical marketing, airplane flight operations, and airline technical support. During her 14 years at Embraer, Mariana navigated both the Commercial and Executive Jets divisions; in her early career, she acted as operational liaison to multiple customer airlines’ flight operations and operations engineering teams, supporting the day-to-day of a growing fleet of regional jets (ERJs/E-Jets models); then she joined the Executive Jets’ Market Intelligence dept., where she was responsible for the Legacy 650/600 model competitiveness & market strategy, and later she joined the Sales & Marketing team in North America as a Sr. Sales Engineer, directly contributing to substantial sales results. In 2020, she was hired by Boom, the American start-up that is seeking to build the first supersonic airliner since Concorde, for a short period of time. Mariana holds an MBA degree from Hult International Business School and a BSc in Civil Engineering from ITA (Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica), Brazil's most prestigious engineering institution that laid foundation to Embraer's birth.
