Mansi is a part of the corporate and commercial practice of the firm and focuses on advising multinational and domestic corporations on a range of corporate commercial aspects relating to doing business in India including corporate compliances, commercial contracts, employment laws and lease of commercial property. Mansi regularly advises companies on foreign investment into India, issues pertaining to regulatory compliances and works with the corporate secretarial team at BTG Advaya to provide ongoing corporate secretarial compliance support to wholly owned subsidiaries of foreign companies across diverse sectors.
Mansi acts as an external member in the Internal Committees set-up by clients under anti-sexual harassment law and is involved in preparing content for anti-sexual harassment workshops including case studies, exercises and role plays. Mansi has been conducting awareness sessions for employees including senior management of multinational corporations to sensitize them on the nuances of sexual harassment. Mansi also conducts workshops for the Internal Committees set up by corporations under anti-sexual harassment law.
She is also actively involved in aviation law matters including legal and regulatory issues relating to registration and deregistration of aircraft, leasing of aircraft, issues concerning airline operations and consumer grievances. Mansi was awarded the International Bar Association’s Aviation Law Committee’s Annual Conference Scholarship 2017. She is presently serving as the Senior Vice Chair of the Aviation Law Committee of the International Bar Association and as the Chair of the India Wing of the International Aerospace Womens Association.
Mansi is often invited by various publications, national and international forums to share views on the latest legal developments.
Prior to joining BTG Advaya, Mansi was associated with a reputed law firm in Mumbai handling corporate and commercial matters.
