Marita Lintener serves as President of the International Aerospace Women's Association (IAWA) for 2026-2027, advancing the organization's mission to connect, inspire, and lead women in the global aerospace and aviation industries.

With over 35 years of senior management experience across the aviation and aerospace value chain, Marita has worked with airlines, air navigation service providers, regulators, and industry bodies throughout her career, which began at Deutsche Lufthansa. Her expertise includes extensive work with the European Commission in Brussels and leadership roles in Private-Public Partnerships across the aviation sector. As Founder and Managing Director of Lintener European Aviation Consultancy (established 2004), she specializes in European regulatory and public affairs, transformation management, and strategic advisory services for clients globally in the aerospace industry.

A passionate advocate for equality, diversity, and inclusion, Marita has dedicated years to pro-bono work promoting female talent in transport and aerospace. She has served on IAWA's Board since 2020 and was honored as an EU Diversity Ambassador by the European Commissioner for Transport in 2019. She is also a member of the EU Platform for Change - Women in Transport.

Marita holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Bonn and an Executive degree from Oxford Saïd Business School (OAMLP). She is a certified coach and mediator. Based between Germany and Australia, she serves clients globally.
