Congratulations to Alina Santander named to Aviation Week's 20 Twenties list!
Alina Santander Vinokurova, 2021 scholarship recipient from Vaughn College, was recently named to the Aviation Week’s 20 Twenties list. Alina is an international student from Bolivia, majoring in Mechatronics Engineering at Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology. She is doing an internship at Honeywell in Ohio this Summer. Currently, she loves participating in outreach events especially those who focus on spreading the word about STEM to girls and minorities, which is something she gets to do through professional chapters at Vaughn.She is thrilled to receive the recognition from Aviation Week because she feels that this highlights all the years that she's been involved in the aviation and aerospace industry. Her plans for the near future involve doing a master’s in aerospace, while also focusing on sustainability.
